Custom domain

You can easily set up a custom subdomain for your AI Agent’s chat widget and public sharing link rather than using the default one provided by PicoBot.

This allows you to completely whitelabel your agents to maintain your brand identity, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for your customers.

How to set a custom domain

To set up your custom domain, follow these steps:

1. Open your workspace and select the AI Agent you want to configure.
2. From the main dashboard sidebar, navigate to Settings > General settings (or the Custom Domain tab).
3. Enter the custom domain or subdomain you want to use for the agent (for example, chat.yourdomain.com).
4. Click Save.

DNS configuration

After saving your preferred domain, you will be provided with specific DNS records. You must add these records to your domain provider (e.g., GoDaddy, Cloudflare, Namecheap) to activate the custom domain.

Once you add the DNS records in your provider’s dashboard, it may take up to 24 hours for the changes to fully propagate across the internet.

You can click the Verify button in PicoBot to instantly check if the records are active. Once verification is successful and the status displays as Active, your agent widget and sharing link will immediately begin using your custom domain!
