Re-sync data sources

If you’ve made significant changes to your Link data sources (websites or specific webpages) and want to immediately update the information in the Knowledge Base, you can manually re-sync the data sources.

This process will command the AI crawler to re-fetch the data directly from the live URL and update the vector information stored in the Knowledge Base.

Re-syncing is exclusively available for Link data sources (which include websites, sitemaps, and individual URL lists).

Other offline data sources like Documents, Texts, and FAQs do not require re-syncing as they are static and do not change unless you manually edit or re-upload them in the dashboard.

To instantly re-sync specific data sources in your Knowledge Base, follow these steps:

  1. Open your AI Agent’s dashboard and go to the Knowledge Base.
  2. Click on the Links tab to view all the URLs you have previously added.
  3. Next to every link in the table is a re-sync icon. Click on this icon to immediately queue the link for re-syncing.

To re-sync multiple data sources at once and save time:

  1. Click on the checkboxes next to all the links you want to re-sync.
  2. Click on the Bulk action dropdown menu that appears at the top of the table.
  3. Select Re-sync links. All selected links will be instantly queued for processing.
