Roles
When inviting team members to your workspace, you can assign them one or more roles, with each role offering different granular permissions depending on their job function.
Here are the available roles and their exact permissions in PicoBot:
Full access to all settings and features, including inviting members, creating new AI Agents and API keys, and managing workspace billing.
Permissions:
- Create, update, and delete projects
- Create, view, test, and delete AI Agents
- View analytics
- View and update agent settings
- View, update, and publish agents in the Builder
- View, update, and delete conversations
- View, update, export, and delete collected leads
- View and update appearance settings
- View and update knowledge base
- View, create, update, and delete team members
- Share AI Agents
- View, create, and delete API keys
- View and update billing settings
- View usage and invoices
- View, download, and delete exports
Editor
Section titled “Editor”Can safely access and modify the agent builder, knowledge base, and widget appearance. Can also create AI Agents and view usage.

- View and update agent settings
- View, update, and publish agents in the Builder
- View and update appearance settings
- View and update knowledge base
- Share AI Agents
- View billing and usage
Analyst
Section titled “Analyst”Can access agent analytics, monitor conversations, and export leads.
Permissions:

- View, update, and delete conversations
- View, update, export, and delete collected leads
- View, download, and delete exports
- View billing and usage
Specifically designed for live-chat human handoffs. Can access and reply to user conversations.
Permissions:

Billing
Section titled “Billing”Can manage the financial aspects of the workspace.
Permissions:
- View and update billing settings
- View usage limits
- View and download invoices
Viewer
Section titled “Viewer”Read-only access. Can view the builder and test agents safely, but doesn’t have any ability to modify production settings.
Permissions:
- View and test AI Agents
- View the agent flow directly in the Builder
