Delete data sources

If you no longer need a data source or want to instantly prevent the AI from referencing it, you can delete it from the Knowledge Base.

[!WARNING] The vector information and document embeddings associated with the deleted data source will be purged permanently from our servers and cannot be recovered.

How to delete a data source

To delete individual data sources:

1. Open your AI Agent’s dashboard and go to the Knowledge Base.
2. Find the data source you wish to remove.
3. Next to every data source in the table is a trash can icon. Click on the icon to immediately delete the data source.

How to delete data sources in bulk

If you need to clear out multiple sources rapidly:

1. Click on the checkboxes next to all the data sources you want to delete.
2. Click the Bulk action dropdown menu that appears at the top of the table.
3. Select Delete. All selected sources will be instantly purged.
